Off-site educational activity cover
The cover has been in place for three consecutive years. 78,000 of the Authority's 80,000 pupils are currently covered under the terms of this scheme.
The scheme covers all persons registered to attend activities or excursions that are approved and authorised by any Gloucestershire County Council school or Youth Group who have elected to participate in the scheme and on whose behalf a premium has been paid.
The cover has been recently extended to include all children in the custody and control of the County Council attending off-site activities.
