Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does CARE recommend as prudent limits of liability protection?

    details
Any insurance programme proposed needs to be based around how risk averse an organisation is. There are general levels of cover and limits that we would recommend, although such levels and limits are not set and in given circumstances these would be considered inadequate.

Each case needs to be viewed on its merits and we would suggest you contact us or complete a quote form for our recommendations for your case.

  • What is CARE’s approach to Broker remuneration?

    details

CARE generally works on a transparent fee basis and has done for a number of years.  For smaller premiums, a commission basis of remuneration may still be more appropriate. However, we would discuss such options at the time of any tender.

  • What policies does your company have in place to evidence your Social Responsibilities?

    details
CARE are part of the Capita Group which is a socially aware business, and has in place specific policies covering equal opportunities, the environment, diversity and more. Details of these can be found on the website www.capita.co.uk.

  • What details are available of the experience of the company staff allocated to the handling and control of the insurance programme?

    details
The current CARE team has significant expertise in the provision and management of insurance programmes for small and large organisations; details of relevant experience are included in our tender packs.

  • What are CARE’s capabilities regarding risk management assistance and added value services that you can provide?

    details

    - Health & Safety compliance

The audit requires approximately thirty minutes per care facility and is designed to be completed online by the site manager. Assistance with 'eAudit' is available through our freephone number, 0800 169 4616
