On 27th November 2008, staff at Capita Specialist Insurance Solutions (CSIS) enjoyed a morning launch party hosted by Managing Director, Tony Page. The celebration marked the launch of ‘eBEST’, a new web based policy administration system for schools.
eBEST has been developed by the BEST team to replace their electronic policy administration program (PAP) which has become redundant due to enhanced technology.
Staff hope that eBEST will provide their clients with easier administration of their policies and improved communication with the BEST team. Several schools have been involved in testing the new system. Pauline Millership, the finance officer at Blenheim Road Primary School commented that:
“I found the system very user-friendly and the process self-explanatory. One of the biggest advantages was the quick and easy process of using the online facility. There was no need to install software, send emails or make telephone calls. I look forward to using it in the future.”
Access to the eBEST programme will be provided to schools when they renew their policies in 2009.
